Responsible for performing neurodiagnostic investigations, including EEG and ENG, as advised by the neurologist and within the scope of training. Prepares patients, explains test procedures and ensures accurate recordings while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Prepares and checks equipment, identifies recording artefacts and reports technical issues promptly. Maintains investigation records, equipment logs and consumable stock, and follows infection-control and patient-confidentiality protocols. Coordinates with neurologists and clinical teams for timely investigations and supports junior technicians in routine procedures. Requires sound knowledge of neurodiagnostic equipment, strong attention to detail, and good communication and teamwork skills.
