Hindu Mission hospital has been in the forefront to promote speciality education and research. To pursue a culture of medical excellence and research, we have started the 3- year DNB Medicine program and planning to start DNB surgery program too. DNB Medicine speciality is a diverse research oriented clinical program that encompasses all the allied fields of medicine specialization like Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Respiratory Medicine, and Endocrinology. It is a rigorous program inculcating teaching-based aspects with research thesis submission towards the end with support of a research guide. The trainee develops intricate skills leading to assessment and identification of clinical condition thereby providing appropriate clinical care through standardization methodology adopted by evidence-based pragmatic means in following clinical protocols and guidelines in practice. It is a rigorous programme that combines structured teaching with a research component, culminating in the submission of a thesis under the guidance of a research mentor.
